ACCESS SUPPORT

Zooco - Talk one (19).jpg

Zoo Co provides Neurodiversity Awareness Training for workplaces; we’re passionate about developing better understanding of neurodiversity, and keen to share stories and best practice.

Our three hour session is delivered by people with lived experience of neurodiversity. We offer an introduction to ADHD, Autism, OCD, Tourette’s Syndrome and complex tic disorders.

As part of Croydon's London Borough of Culture, Zoo Co created a Library of resources for events organisers to use for free. From break-out room kits, ear defenders and sensory aids, to tech equipment and captioning software. Find the whole range of equipment available at the link below.

Zoo Co can offer Access Consultancy for arts organisations, with our Creative Access Director Fleur Rooth.
We can guide you through different access elements if you are new to working in an accessible way.
Zoo Co has offered access coordination across many arts teams, and can join your project to offer different levels of support.

During Croydon's London Borough of Culture year the Access Manifesto was put together in consultation with Zoo Co's Access Team.

It is available for free and you can now find the Access Manifesto available in Easy Read format or in BSL video format - sign up through the Access Arts Croydon website.
Contact fleur@wearezooco.co.uk for support in accessing the resources.

If you’re running an event, you can contract Zoo Co to provide advice, materials and personnel to make your event more accessible.
We proudly delivered access provision for Liberty Festival 2023, the Mayor of London’s annual free festival celebrating work by deaf, disabled and neurodivergent artists.

Whatever the scale of your event, please get in touch to talk through what you might need.
