Role: Work Experience Placement

Dates & Location: 21st July - 1st August (excluding weekends) 10am-5pm at Stanley Arts during the first week & variable hours at a london theatre venue (where we’ll tech and perform the YoCo show).

Show days are Thursday 31st July & Friday 1st August, hours estimated at 1pm - 9pm on show days.

The Opportunity:

We are offering two work experience placements that will be based in the rehearsal room / theatre space assisting the final rehearsals and production of Zoo Co's Young Company (YoCo) show. This role will be supervised by the YoCo Producer.

YoCo have been building a show over the course of the year and will be performing it on Thursday 31st July and Friday 1st August. The show has been devised by the Young Company alongside Zoo Co's Artistic Director, Flo O'Mahony and written by Rebecca Saffir.

Duties will include:

• Working with the script to assist the actors during rehearsals

• Helping manage and source props

• Being part of the tech team and assisting with tech set-up

• Generating marketing and social media content for the show (using the Young Company phone). 

 

It’s a great opportunity to see how rehearsal, tech and performances run, led by industry professionals.
